What are the tuition rates?

Your first session is $90 per hour — a reduced introductory rate so you can experience the teaching style firsthand. All subsequent sessions are $150 per hour, regardless of year level or subject stream.

How does ongoing tuition work?

Students who continue beyond their first session commit to a minimum block of 8 classes over 2 months. This structure ensures consistent progress and accountability. All committed sessions within the block are payable in full, including any you choose to cancel.

Are sessions available online, in-person, or both?

Both options are available. In-person sessions take place across the Perth metropolitan area. A travel surcharge may apply for in-person sessions depending on location, and will be confirmed prior to enrolment. Online sessions are conducted via Zoom and are open to students anywhere in Australia or internationally — same quality, same personalised approach.

How large are the classes?

Dedicated one-on-one tutoring is available for students who prefer individual attention. Small group sessions are deliberately capped at 8–10 students to ensure every student receives meaningful feedback and interaction.

What is the policy if I need to miss a session?

Provide 24 hours' notice wherever possible. Recorded video catch-ups may be provided at Cannell Physics' discretion. Under a signed contract, cancelled lessons must be paid for in full — no exceptions, no refunds, no credits.

Can Cannell Physics cancel a class?

Yes. Cannell Physics reserves the right to cancel any class not in accordance with the signed contract, including for outstanding payments, breach of terms, or inappropriate conduct. No obligation to reschedule or refund applies.

Do you offer a trial session?

No. No trial, obligation-free, or à-la-carte sessions are offered. A brief consultation call (phone or video) at no charge is available to discuss goals and suitability before enrolment.

Which textbooks do you recommend?

We recommend starting with Cannell Physics' own revision series and exam preparation materials, purpose-built for the WACE curriculum. These are the core texts used across all our tuition programmes. If additional supplementary material would benefit your study, we'll advise on the best options during your sessions.

Do they include worked solutions?

Yes. Recommended texts include step-by-step worked solutions for self-checking.

Are digital resources printable or downloadable?

Yes. All materials are provided in PDF format — printable, device-compatible, and annotatable.

How do I know which modules match my syllabus?

All materials are mapped to the WACE curriculum. Cannell Physics confirms your exact units and assessment schedule at enrolment.

Can I buy your notes without enrolling?

No. All proprietary notes, summaries, and custom materials are exclusively available to enrolled, paying students. They are not sold separately under any circumstances.

Cannell Physics cancellations: Cannell Physics may cancel any class, session, or enrolment not in accordance with the signed contract — including for outstanding payments, breach of terms, misuse of materials, or inappropriate conduct. No obligation to reschedule or refund.

Contract termination: Cannell Physics may terminate any contract at its sole discretion where a breach of terms is identified. All fees for committed sessions remain payable.
